Ministry of Business and Mineral Resources 

The Ministry must ensure that Naalakkersuisut's, The Government of Greenland’s, general political objectives in the area of business and mineral resources are realized.

The Ministry of Business and Mineral Resources handles the overall planning, analysis work and administration of political initiatives in the field of business, trade, and mineral resources.

Working towards a self-supporting economy, the Ministry is responsible for ensuring a good and stable framework and growth conditions for the business sector in Greenland. The Consumer and Competition authorities in Greenland supports this work by working for well-functioning markets.

In addition, the Ministry is responsible for settling Greenland's various reporting obligations in accordance with its obligations under various international conventions, particularly in the area of human rights.
